This could mean a lot of things. From the opposite of mentally checking out, to checking in at a hotel. The context I want to use here is using your own inner (and/or guided) knowledge to help direct your way.
Many times my clients will hear my say, "Hold on a minute, I need to check in".
This is when I tune in to the place(s) where I gain clarity, information and insight. I use it to:
-Learn next steps
-Make sure there is alignment
-Listen for what needs to be said
and anything else that pops up.
